Marco Cecchinato vs Roman Andres Burruchaga prediction

Marco Cecchinato qualified for this tournament and is set to make his first ATP main draw appearance of the campaign. The 33-year-old, who reached a career high ranking of 16 in February 2019, is now outside the top 170. He has reached two finals on the Challenger Tour, but the title alluded him on both occasions.

He faces Roman Andres Burruchaga in round one. The Argentine is searching for his first win in four matches after a recent losing run. He was defeated in the opening round at Eastbourne and Wimbledon, before another loss in Braunschweig on the Challenger Tour against Max Schoenhaus. It’s still been a good year for Burruchaga, as he advanced to his first ever tour-level final in Houston, but he will be hoping for a swift return to winning ways.

The overall head-to-head is 2-2, including both Challenger events and qualifiers. Burruchaga is not in the best of form, while Cecchinato does have a bit of momentum from those recent victories.
