Man City vs Wolves prediction
Pep Guardiola appears to be coming to the end of his reign at Manchester City. The home team suffered a 2-0 loss to Manchester United in the derby at Old Trafford in a game in which the scoreline flattered the Cityzens ahead of a very embarrasing 3-1 loss to Bodo/Glimt in the Arctic Circle in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.
They now face a Wolverhampton Wanderers side that are now unbeaten in their last five matches across all competitions under the management of Rob Edwards. The visitors most recently shared a goalless draw with Newcastle United at Molineux last weekend. Wolves do remain 14 points adrift of safety, though, ahead of this weekend.
Wolves are definitely improving and they have given themselves a bit of a chance as they travel to the Etihad but City, even in their poor form, will be favoured to bounce back in a likely competitive encounter.
