Malaysia vs Singapore prediction

Malaysia come into this one on the back of a 4-0 hammering of Vietnam in the third round of AFC Asian Cup qualification back in mid-June. The Malaysians have now suffered just two defeats in their last ten matches since losing to New Zealand in an international friendly back in October 2024.

They now face a Singaporean side that are currently ranked 159th in the world by FIFA. They are under the management of interim coach Gavin Lee, who was the former assistant coach. The Singaporeans’ most recent outing saw them earn back-to-back victories against Bangladesh and Maldives.

Despite those victories against minnow nations in mid-June, Malaysia will be expected to continue their reasonable form, especially with their home advantage.

Malaysia vs Singapore tip: Malaysia to win
