Alycia Parks was made to work hard before extinguishing Greek hopes of an upset in Athens.

The American took down home underdog Grammatikopolous 7-6 6-4 to tee up a second career clash with Mai Hontama.

The Japanese scored a surprise 6-4 7-5 win over fifth seed Magda Linette but we don’t see the world number 202 bagging another upset in this one.
