Luton vs Cardiff prediction

Luton Town have returned to League One as the pre-season title favourites with a very impressive squad for the level, with Matt Bloomfield at the helm. The Hatters began with unconvincing victories against AFC Wimbledon and Peterborough United, and they edged past Wigan Athletic in midweek after a 2-1 loss away at Bradford City.

They now face a Cardiff City side that now have an extremely young squad with young coach Brian Barry-Murphy at the helm. The Bluebirds are expected to have a fun season and they are enjoying a positive start to the campaign with ten points collected, most recently defeating AFC Wimbledon with a last gasp winning goal in midweek.

Cardiff will head to Luton seeking to play their now naturally pleasant style, whilst Luton have yet to develop much fluency just yet, unusually for Bloomfield, but both teams scoring would remain a decent bet for this one, despite two strong defensive records.

Luton vs Cardiff tip: Both teams to score
