Lucie Havlickova vs Barbora Krejcikova prediction

Lucie Havlickova picked up a brilliant win in the opening round as she beat Alycia Parks in straight sets. The Czech was composed throughout on home soil, winning 6-2 6-4 and saving all six break points she faced across the match. 

Havlickova will now face second seed Barbora Krejcikova for a place in the quarter-finals. The two-time Grand Slam singles champion continued her fine form as she defeated Linda Fruhvirtova. It was a quick turnaround for Krejcikova, who had just won a title in Athens two days earlier, but she converted six out of eight break point opportunities as she won 6-2 6-4. 

Krejcikova is on a six-match winning run and also has the superior variety from the baseline when compared to her opponent. The 30-year-old could be feeling the effects of a number of matches in quick succession, but the young wildcard is still a very clear underdog in this match.
