Liverpool vs Crystal Palace prediction

Liverpool are currently going through a disastrous spell under Arne Slot, losing five of their last six across all competitions since their win over Southampton in the third round. The first of those five defeats came at the hands of Crystal Palace in the Premier League, the Eagles winning a thriller by two goals to one in the 97th minute through Eddie Nketiah.

Nketiah could well have a role to play in this game and Liverpool fans have a right to be nervous about this fixture. So far, they just aren’t clicking as a team, with Arne Slot still struggling to lock down his strongest starting XI. Palace are an outstanding cup side under Oliver Glasner and combine potent offense with a rock-solid defence. With that in mind, backing the visitors go through warrants serious consideration.
