Leeds United have had a strong start to the Premier League season as the Whites now welcome a European chasing AFC Bournemouth side to Elland Road this weekend.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Not televised

How to watch online: UK – Cannot be streamed / US – Peacock

Leeds preview: Impressive Leeds

Leeds United were tipped for relegation at the start of the season, and it could well be what happens, but the Yorkshire giants have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign, having trusted their top-flight season to former Norwich City boss Daniel Farke.

Leeds come into this one on the back of a come from behind 3-1 defeat of Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux last weekend, courtesy of strikes from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach and Noah Okafor.

Bournemouth preview: Push for Europe

After fading away from the European spots in the Premier League last season, AFC Bournemouth will be expecting to go again, despite many major sales over the summer, but after keeping hold of manager Andoni Iraola.

The Cherries come into this one on the back of a four-match unbeaten run of form since suffering a 4-2 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on the opening day of the campaign. They shared a goalless draw with Newcastle United at the Vitality Stadium last weekend.

Leeds team news: Bogle back, James could be back

In his pre-match press conference, Leeds boss Daniel Farke has confirmed that Jayden Bogle is back fit for the hosts, whilst Daniel James also has a chance of playing this weekend.

However, Italy international attacker Willy Gnonto remains sidelined through injury for Leeds. Karl Darlow is expected to stay in goal, whilst Lucas Perri remains unavailable until, likely, after the October international break.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Darlow; Bogle, Rodon, Struijk, Gudmundsson; Stach, Ampadu, Longstaff; Aaronson, Calvert-Lewin, Okafor

Unavailable: Perri (Injured), Gnonto (Injured)

Questionable: James (Fitness)

Bournemouth team news: No Smith or Unal

Andoni Iraola has confirmed that the visitors will remain without club Adam Smith as well as Turkey international Enes Unal due to their respective injury issues, albeit they are nearing a return.

The Cherries could be able to have Lewis Cook back in action with the former Leeds man having trained, but a late assessment will be required due to continued shoulder pain.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Jimenez, Diakite, Senesi, Truffert; Adams, Scott; Semenyo, Tavernier, Brooks; Evanilson

Unavailable: Smith (Injured), Unal (Injured)

Questionable: Cook (Injured)

Leeds vs Bournemouth prediction

Leeds’ defensive performances have been most surprising and impressive, having only conceded two goals outside of a 5-0 loss to Arsenal. One of those goals was also an extremely unfortunate own goal scored by Gabriel Gudmundsson a fortnight ago. They face a Bournemouth side that remain intense to watch but perhaps lacking an attacking efficiency. That said, they are a team that can dismantle and overwhelm anyone so remain favourites in a likelier low-scoring affair at Elland Road.

Leeds vs Bournemouth tip: Bournemouth to win & under 3.5 goals
