Lech Poznan vs Genk prediction

Lech Poznan come into this one on the back of being knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the third qualifying round last week, suffering a 4-2 aggregate loss to Crvena Zvezda. In the second qualifying round, they managed to hammer Icelandic champions Breidablik by eight goals to one on aggregate.

They now face a Genk side that, under the management of former Bayern Munich defensive midfielder Thorsten Fink, most recently defeated Oud-Heverlee Leuven by two goals to one in the league at the weekend. They have been unconvincing at the start of the 2025/26 Jupiler Pro League campaign.

That indifferent start to the domestic season for Genk will give Lech a lot of hope ahead of this playoff round first-leg, and siding with Lech appears a good bet for this one.

Lech Poznan vs Genk tip: Double chance – Lech Poznan to win or draw
