Laos will see this as a great opportunity to put three points on the board early on. With host nation Hong Kong also in the group, the importance of a good start cannot be underestimated. Laos should have the better of things and boss most of the game, but Brunei should pose a counter-attacking threat.
Neither will want to give anything away early on though, so this could turn out to be a cagey initial affair. It would be no surprise if goals wound up being at a premium as a result and with that in mind, backing under 2.5 of them across 90 minutes between these two nations is a move worth considering.
