Lanlana Tararudee vs Daria Snigur prediction
Lanlana Tararudee advanced to the last eight at the Prague Open after mounting a brilliant comeback against home favourite Nikola Bartunkova. The Czech looked on course for victory as she went 5-1 up in the deciding set, but Tararudee saved four match points and went on to win 7-6 (4) 3-6 7-6 (6). She also saved a set point in the first set tiebreak. This was Tararudee’s first win over a top 50 opponent, and she is now on a seven-match winning streak after her success in Istanbul last week.
She will face Daria Snigur for a place in the semi-finals. The Ukrainian enjoyed a far more comfortable outing as she defeated Ayla Aksu in straight sets. Snigur conceded just the one break point as she won 6-3 6-2.
Tararudee has picked up a number of wins in quick succession, but she was on the brink in her last match. Snigur could be a step too far.
