LAFC vs Flamengo prediction
Coached by Steve Cherundolo, Los Angeles qualified for the tournament earlier this month as they defeated Club America in the play-in. However, after a 2-0 loss to Chelsea to kick off their campaign, they then laboured to a fairly deflating 1-0 defeat to Esperance de Tunis the other day.
Filipe Luis has begun his managerial career very well, winning the Copa do Brasil earlier this year, and he is in charge of an impressive Flamengo side. The Brazilian giants eased to a 2-0 win over ES Tunis in their opener before then coming from behind to comfortably defeat Chelsea by three goals to one.
Attention for LAFC may well return to domestic matters now and that should allow Flamengo the opportunity to cement their spot at the top of the group in this one.
