Kuwait vs Lebanon prediction

In the third round of Asian qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which ended in the summer, Kuwait finished rock-bottom in Group B and were one of just two sides that finished their campaign winless, alongside North Korea. Their most recent outing saw them suffer a 4-0 hammering at the hands of South Korea in Seoul.

They now face a Lebanon side that didn’t make it through to the third round, which is a surprise considering a slight improvement in the last decade, but they were beaten to the punch by Palestine in the second round. The Lebanese most recently defeated Qatar by a goal to nil in a non-FIFA recognised friendly in late-August.

These are two of the weaker, or at least middling, sides on the Asian continent, and the expectation is for it to be a low-scoring encounter, albeit Kuwait are slight favourites.

Kuwait vs Lebanon tip: Kuwait to win & under 3.5 goals
