Julia Grabher vs Rebecca Sramkova prediction
Due to a complicated wrist injury, this will be Julia Grabher's first French Open appearance since 2023, although the Austrian did reach the second round of the Australian Open in January as she continues to climb back up the rankings and rediscover her game.
Now 29, Grabher has been fairly active during the clay swing in preparation for Roland Garros.
Rebecca Sramkova has not had a great deal of success at Grand Slams, only reaching the second round once from her nine participations overall, with her three previous French Open appearances in the main draw ending at the first hurdle.
The Slovak, currently ranked 125th in singles, has not really shown any form during the clay season to convince us that she can break her Roland Garros duck.
Sramkova is considered the favourite amongst the bookies, but we think Grabher is worth a look in this one.
