Jerome Kym vs Dylan Dietrich prediction
Jerome Kym last competed in Iasi on the Challenger Tour last week, winning three matches in a row before a defeat in the last four to Zsombor Piros. He was close to qualifying for Wimbledon towards the end of last month but lost a five set match against Roman Safiullin in the final stage. Safiullin would go on to reach the round-of-16 in the main draw. This will be the 23-year-old’s first tour-level appearance of the season, but the highlight of his career so far was a superb run from qualifying to the third-round of the 2025 US Open. He also advanced to the quarter-finals of this event last year.
He takes on Dylan Dietrich in round one. The 21-year-old is ranked outside the top 600, but he did qualify for this event following wins over Otto Virtanen and Thiago Moura Monteiro. He will certainly be the underdog for this match.
Kym is the home favourite and performed strongly here last year. He is also in decent form after his most recent event, and he’ll be expected to come out on top.
Jerome Kym vs Dylan Dietrich tip: Jerome Kym to win 2-0
