Japan vs Ghana prediction

With a squad full of immense potential, and quite a lot of quality depth, Japan qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as comfortably the strongest team out of the Asian confederation. The Japanese most recently managed to defeat Brazil by three goals to two, coming from 2-0 down to beat the five-time world champions.

Ghana, under the management of former Borussia Dortmund assistant coach Otto Addo, have their own star-studded attack, boasting the likes of Inaki Williams, Mohammed Kudus and Antoine Semenyo. The Black Stars are unbeaten in five matches since a Jollof Derby defeat to Nigeria in late-May.

Ghana have a lot of quality in the final third and Japan play a high energy and intense style of football and so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one.

Japan vs Ghana tip: Both teams to score
