Ireland vs North Macedonia prediction

After producing a miracle to reach the UEFA playoffs for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Heimur Hallgrimsson’s side then went 2-0 up against Czechia in Prague in their semi-final before succumbing to a dramatic penalty shootout loss to the Czechs.

North Macedonia, on the other hand, didn’t produce much drama as they suffered a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Denmark in their semi-final, having finished 2025 with a 7-0 demolition against Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Something appears to have very suddenly broken for North Macedonia, while preparations for co-hosting UEFA EURO 2028 can begin now for the Irish with a home win to be sided with for this one.

Ireland vs North Macedonia tip: Ireland to win & under 3.5 goals
