Coached by Javier Mascherano, Inter Miami reached the round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup, restoring some form after an underwhelming few months. The Floridians come into this one on the back of backing up a 4-1 hammering of Montreal by defeating the New England Revolution by two goals to one a few days’ later.
They now face a Nashville side that entertainingly defeated DC United by five goals to two in the quarter-finals of the US Open Cup in midweek in their most recent outing. That was the Tennessee-based outfit’s fifth successive victory and they are now unbeaten in their last 16 matches across all competitions.
Nashville will make things tough for Inter Miami and we have two teams meeting that are in good form so an entertaining encounter in which both teams score seems a good bet.
