Honduras vs Nicaragua prediction

On the opening match day of Group C in the third round of CONCACAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Honduras and Nicaragua both got themselves up and running.

Nicaragua, despite going down to ten men with well over half an hour of the game to go, managed to steal a point against a Costa Rica side that are perennial qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup. Honduras, on the other hand, were held to a frustrating goalless draw against Haiti, which was played at the neutral venue of Willemstad in Curacao.

These are two evenly matched sides, but it has to be said that Honduras have more pedigree and, with their home advantage, should scrape themselves through this week.

Honduras vs Nicaragua tip: Honduras to win & under 3.5 goals
