Key stats

  • Haiti have won seven of their last ten World Cup qualifying matches (L3). They have won three of four in the current campaign, losing only against Curaçao (1-5) in their most recent match.
  • Honduras have won their previous four matches in the current World Cup qualifying campaign. They are aiming to win five successive World Cup qualifying matches for the first time since 2000.

Haiti vs Honduras prediction

Under the management of Sebastien Migne, Haiti are currently ranked 90th in the world, according to FIFA. The Grenadiers, as they are nicknamed, managed to finish second in Group C of the second round of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, finishing three points behind Curacao.

Honduras have a bit more international football pedigree, and now under the management of Reinaldo Rueda, they will believe they are the closest challengers to Costa Rica in this group, which also consists of Nicaragua. They recently reached the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup this summer.

Haiti have some talent and they also have home advantage and so will be confident, but the likelihood remains that Honduras inch their way through to qualification.

Haiti vs Honduras tip: Honduras to win & under 3.5 goals
