Hacken vs Spartak Trnava prediction

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League first qualifying round tie last week, Hacken managed to edge past Spartan Trnava by a goal to nil at Stadion Antona Malatinskeho in Slovakia, courtesy of a 63rd minute winner scored by Severin Nioule.

Hacken won the 2023 Allsvenskan, before a slight regression last season. They are once again perhaps stagnating domestically as they sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table in Sweden’s top-flight. They face a Spartak Trnava side that finished third in the 2024/25 Slovak Super Liga last season, a couple of points behind MSK Zilina but some way off the dominant force of Slovakia, Slovan Bratislava.

Spartak Trnava may well believe they have blown their chance having suffered a defeat at home, and siding with Hacken looks the way to go for this second-leg this week.
