Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard has come through two rounds of qualifying to reach this stage, and the French powerhouse will be fired up on his return to Basel.

The 23-year-old won this tournament back in 2024, beating Ben Shelton in straight sets in the final, and he will fancy his chances in Basel once again this week.
