Elise Mertens will be a heavy favourite when she meets Moyuka Uchijima for the third time.

The fifth seed will also be highly motivated to get back to winning ways after first-hurdle losses in Wuhan and Ningbo means she is now on a three-match losing streak.

The Belgian leads this head-to-head 2-0, including a 6-3 6-1 success at this year’s Australian Open and it should be a case of same again from her point of view.
