Germany vs Spain prediction
Germany have been declining in recent years but began this tournament well with back-to-back victories. They were then hammered 4-1 by Sweden in their final group game, but have reached the semi-final by overcoming a strong France side in the quarter-finals, defeating Les Bleues on penalties by six goals to five the other day.
World champions Spain have a star studded side and they have sublime throughout this tournament thus far, with annihilations of both Portugal and Belgium before a comfortable win coming from behind against Italy. They then eased past hosts Switzerland by two goals to nil in the quarter-finals at the weekend.
Germany have perhaps just about hit par for their tournament now, and they have a lot of selection dilemmas, particularly defensively, so backing the Spanish is the way to go for this one.
