John McGinn has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League for a while now and he perhaps took his game to another level this season, helping Aston Villa win the UEFA Europa League and finish fourth to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. An eye for goal, the all-action midfielder will be imperative for Steve Clarke as they seek to put right poor UEFA European Championship group stage exits in 2021 and 2024, with McGinn key to their evolution to becoming more proactive in the final third this summer.
