Monza are enjoying a truly excellent campaign and secured yet another win last time out. On the back of stunning this year’s Serie A winners Napoli, they backed that effort up with another success as they overcame Sassuolo.
Despite falling behind to a Domenico Berardi penalty on the stroke of half-time, they were able to level through Patrick Ciurria before their task was aided by Sassuolo going down to 10 men. Ruan was given his marching orders and as they continued to push for a winner, they were eventually rewarded in stoppage time as Matteo Pessina found the back of the net.
That win made it eight games without a loss for Monza while they have lost just two of their last 12 league games on home soil. After such a stirring campaign, they will be eager to end the season in front of their home fans on a high.
LECCE
Lecce remain in trouble at the wrong end of the table after playing out a goalless draw with fellow relegation-threatened side Spezia. In what was a fairly scrappy affair, neither side were able to break the deadlock and had to settle for a share of the spoils.

These two teams are trending in opposite directions and it could be evident come the full-time whistle.
