THE PREDICTION
Cagliari struggled in the early weeks of the season where they picked up just a solitary point from their first three games but have steadily improved since then having won four of their last five games in all competitions. They are currently entrenched in mid-table and could pose a threat to reigning champions Juventus here, who are developing a habit of drawing games they should win. Their last match before the international break was indicative of that as they conspired to concede in injury time against Lazio and had to settle for a 1-1 draw. Manager Andrea Pirlo will be demanding that his team do not continue to display complacency and, given the quality in their ranks, they should have enough to overcome this stubborn Cagliari outfit.
