THE PREDICTION

Colombia picked up four points from their opening two games in CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying last month and notably salvaged a 2-2 draw against Chile courtesy of an injury-time equaliser from veteran striker Radamel Falcao. Uruguay, meanwhile, scored a last-minute goal against Chile themselves to claim a win in their opener but followed that up with a surprise defeat to Ecuador and they now face Colombia, Brazil and Argentina in their next three fixtures of what is an unforgiving schedule. Both these sides possess plenty of attacking talent, with Colombia spearheaded by Atalanta duo Duvan Zapata and Luis Muriel while Uruguay’s Luis Suarez is the joint top-scorer in the competition at the moment. Both teams should get on the scoresheet here, with a share of the spoils the predicted outcome.
