Colombia picked up four points from their opening two games in CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying last month and notably salvaged a 2-2 draw against Chile courtesy of an injury-time equaliser from veteran striker Radamel Falcao. Uruguay, meanwhile, scored a last-minute goal against Chile themselves to claim a win in their opener but followed that up with a surprise defeat to Ecuador and they now face Colombia, Brazil and Argentina in their next three fixtures of what is an unforgiving schedule.
