FCSB vs Aberdeen prediction

In Europe so far, FCSB have edged past Andorran champions Inter Club d’Escaldes before a defeat to Shkendija in the UEFA Champions League. They then edged past Kosovan side Drita and a 2-0 loss Arges Pitesti in the league at the weekend means that they have four victories in 15 matches across all competitions.

They now face an Aberdeen side that, coached by Jimmy Thelin, fought back well in the first-leg at Pittodrie last week. FCSB went into a 2-0 lead via a Daniel Birligea brace, before Aberdeen fought back to earn a 2-2 draw late on. They have since had a week off from Scottish Premiership action, where they currently sit rock-bottom after two games.

Aberdeen head to the Romanian capital with a bit of hope now reignited, but FCSB, despite their unconvincing performances, are slight favourites to edge through in Bucharest.
