- Not many expected Karachi Kings to beat reigning champions Lahore Qalandars this past weekend, but that’s exactly what they did, securing their first points of this year’s tournament.
- After putting up a very good score of 185/5 batting first, Karachi ran through Lahore’s batting, Akif Javed picking up four wickets for the loss of 28 runs.
THE PREDICTION
As well as Karachi Kings performed against Lahore Qalandars, this presents another stiff examination for them when considering how strong Multan have looked so far during PSL 8. The Sultans have failed to score below 170 batting first and their only run chase saw them triumph with nine wickets to spare.
