Unlike a lot of European ties last week, Celje and Sabah pulled off an entertaining encounter in the first-leg, but it remains delicately poised in this second-leg this week.

Celje vs Sabah prediction
In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League first qualifying round tie, Slovenian outfit Celje defeated Sabah by three goals to two at Respublika Arena in Armenia. Sabah took a third minute lead via Pavol Safranko in the third minute before Franko Kovacevic equalised a few minutes’ later. Safranko re-established Sabah’s lead via the penalty spot with Kovacevic getting his brace just after the break. Celje then snatched the win in second-half stoppage-time with a Darko Hrka winner.
Celje will believe they have a real chance of pushing into the league phase of UEFA competition, and they have started their 2025/26 campaign quite well with that win.
It was a topsy turvy encounter in the first-leg, but Celje are expected to come out on top in this second-leg, and Celje are expected to make it a more comfortable two-legged win.
