Burnley preview: Two wins on the bounce

Burnley have recorded successive wins in the Premier League for the first time since their promotion to the top tier, following their home victory over Leeds with a dramatic 2-3 triumph against relegation rivals Wolves at Molineux.

After going 0-2 up through a Zian Flemming brace, the Clarets were pegged back by the hosts, but substitute Lyle Foster bagged a 95h-minute winner for the visitors, who find themselves five points clear of danger heading into the weekend.

Arsenal preview: Ruthlessly efficient

Aided by a seemingly impregnable defence, Arsenal are four points clear at the top of the table with their latest Premier League test seeing them defeat Crystal Palace 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium, where they scored from yet another set-piece.

Also progressing to the EFL Cup quarter-finals with a 2-0 victory over Brighton midweek, the Gunners have now kept six straight clean sheets in all competitions, and have conceded just three goals in their nine Premier League games.

Burnley team news: Striker headache

Despite Foster's winner on his return from injury last weekend, Scott Parker could keep faith with Flemming up front after his double against Wolves.

Jordan Beyer, Connor Roberts and Zeki Amdouni remain in the treatment room and are unlikely to see game-time this year.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Dubravka; Walker, Tuanzebe, Esteve, Hartman; Cullen, Luis; Larsen, Ugochukwu, Anthony; Flemming

Unavailable: Beyer (Injured), Roberts (Injured), Amdouni (Injured)

Questionable:

Arsenal team news: No Martinelli & Saliba doubt

Gabriel Martinelli won't be part of the travelling squad to Turf Moor, with Mikel Arteta not offering much in the way of an expected return timescale for the Brazilian.

The Gunners boss was also coy on William Saliba's availability, with one of Cristhian Mosquera or Piero Hincapiue ready to partner Gabriel in central defence if required.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Eze, Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Gyokeres, Trossard

Unavailable: Odegaard (Injured), Madueke (Injured), Martinelli (Injured), Havertz (Injured), Jesus (Injured)

Questionable: Saliba (Injured)

Burnley vs Arsenal prediction

Burnley are on a high right now having won back-to-back games in the Premier League, but they will be fully aware that they are now taking on a side who are firm favourites to go all the way this season.

Arsenal aren't exactly blowing teams away but they are simply not conceding, and with their incredible knack of producing goals from set-pieces, it is difficult to look past them winning a seventh consecutive game across all competitions.

Another win to nil for the Gunners would not be in the least bit surprising.
