Bristol City vs Wolves Prediction

Bristol City head into the third round of the FA Cup in some good form at the moment as they challenge for the top six and the playoff places as they take on a Wolverhampton Wanderers side battling against relegation in the Premier League.

The Robins, coached by Liam Manning, most recently edged past Derby County by a goal to nil at Ashton Gate last weekend thanks to a 19th minute winner from defender Luke McNally. That means City have now collected ten points from their last four matches as they re-establish their playoff push.

Wolverhampton Wanderers took seven points from their opening three matches following the appointment of Vitor Pereira and they do sit just outside of the bottom three and the relegation places in the Premier League but only on goal difference as they most recently suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest last week.

Bristol City’s form and home advantage means we could well have a famed ‘cupset’ here with Wolves likely to rest and rotate as they prioritise Premier League survival.
