Bournemouth preview: Entertainers

Bournemouth played out an entertaining Premier League opener against Liverpool last Friday that saw them come from two goals down to level matters before the reigning champions scored twice in the dying moments to inflict a 4-2 defeat on the Cherries.

Andoni Iraola has acquired the services of two exciting talents this week, with Ben Doak and Amine Adli bolstering their ranks.

Wolves preview: Positive in defeat

Despite losing 0-4 at home to Man City last Saturday, Wolves actually played well for large periods of the match against Pep Guardiola's men and there still some positives to take from the defeat.

Manager Vitor Pereira has stated that he hopes to bring in at least two more signings to bolster his options before the transfer window closes on 1 September.

Bournemouth team news: Too soon for Kluivert?

Justiin Kluivert has made a partial return to training but this game is likely to come too soon for the Dutchman, while Enes Unal is still out and Lewis Cook - injured anyway - remains suspended.

Andoni Iraola's attacking options are diminished for the time being, following the sale of Dango Ouattara to Brentford and Luis Sinisterra's loan move to Brazilian outfit Cruzeiro.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Smith, Diakite, Senesi, Truffert; Scott, Adams; Semenyo, Tavernier, Brooks; Evanilson

Unavailable: Cook (Suspended), Unal (Injured)

Questionable: Kluivert (Fitness)

Wolves team news: Tchatchoua could be involved

New signing Jackson Tchatchoua is expected to be in the squad but it would be a surprise if he was to go straight into the starting XI.

Leon Chiwone is the only known absentee in the Wolves ranks, while out-of-favour striker Fabio Silva looks poised to leave the club in the coming days.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Sa; Doherty, Agbadou, T. Gomes; Hoever, Andre, J. Gomes, Wolfe; Munetsi, Strand Larsen, Bellegarde

Unavailable: Chiwone (Injured)

Questionable:

Bournemouth vs Wolves prediction

Antoine Semenyo's performance against Liverpool was a particular standout in Bournemouth's opener, and if he plays with the same intensity in this one, the Wolves defence will surely struggle to contain the Cherries.

Add to that the fact that Bournemouth have strengthened their squad with more attacking talent in the last few days, and you have to think they can register their first points of the season.

With a new-look backline though, don't be surprised if they concede along the way as it will take some time for them to adapt to the fact that they lost three of their four first-choice defenders over the summer.

Bournemouth vs Wolves tip: Bournemouth to win & both teams to score
