Bolton vs AFC Wimbledon prediction

Bolton Wanderers have experienced a major overhaul over the summer, with Steven Schumacher granted 14 new signings to try and take the Trotters back to the top two and the automatic promotion spots. The Whites have shared four successive 1-1 draws to leave supporters frustrated, but performances have remained encouraging.

They now face an AFC Wimbledon side that, following their promotion to League One last season via winning the League Two playoff final against Walsall, have started the season very well. The south Londoners have a very competitive and direct style of football under Johnnie Jackson, and it makes them fairly difficult to beat.

That style of football may ensure it is a low-scoring clash at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, but Bolton would have to be viewed as firm favourites this weekend.

Bolton vs AFC Wimbledon tip: Bolton to win & under 3.5 goals
