Bologna preview: Brilliant Bologna
On the opening day of the season, Bologna suffered a 1-0 loss to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in the capital city last weekend. In a game that Roma shaded, the only goal of the match was scored by former Flamengo right-back Wesley.
Bologna have had another summer of change with some key players leaving, and reports of Jhon Lucumi departing remain, though Vincenzo Italiano remains in charge as they seek to put a poor end to last season behind them.
Como preview: Cesc’s Como
Cesc Fabregas has been backed with almost £100 million spent in the summer transfer window. In their first campaign back in Serie A, Como were very impressive as they finished firmly in the middle-of-the-table, and they will look to kick on this season.
They will be aiming for a European spot this season and they began their campaign with an impressive 2-0 defeat of Lazio at Stadio Giuseppe Singaglia last weekend, thanks to second-half goals from Tasos Douvikas and Nico Paz.
Bologna team news: Immobile now out
Summer signing, Italy international striker Ciro Immobile, is missing through injury for the hosts this weekend, alongside defensive duo Nicolo Casale and Erik Holm.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Skorupski; De Silvestri, Vitik, Heggem, Lykogiannis; Freuler, Pobega; Orsolini, Odgaard, Cambiaghi; Castro

Como team news: Addai inching back
Summer signing Jayden Addai is inching his way to full fitness after an ankle injury, but now former Real Betis attacker Assane Diao is dealing with a foot injury instead.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Butez; Van Der Brempt, Jacobo, Kempf, Alex Valle; Maximo Perrone, Da Cunha; Vojvoda, Nico Paz, Jesus Rodriguez; Douvikas
Unavailable: Dossena (Injured), Diao (Injured)

Bologna vs Como prediction
Vincenzo Italiano had Bologna pushing for a top four finish and UEFA Champions League qualification last season, before they collapsed to finishing ninth. They now face a Como side that will head across to Emilio-Romagna with a lot of vigour and intensity to the way they play, and a lot of confidence. Against a side that could well be without a couple of key defenders, Como will fancy their chances.
Bologna vs Como tip: Double chance – Como to win or draw
