Bodo/Glimt Preview: Home advantage
In the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League last month, Bodo/Glimt defeated Lazio by two goals to nil up in the Arctic Circle in the first-leg before then managing to overcome the Romans on penalties at the Stadio Olimpico in the Italian capital after a defeat in the second-leg.
Kjetil Knutsen has done a magnificent job in charge of the Norwegian champions and it would be fitting for their fairytale to have yet another level to go to with a European final awaiting them if they can overturn the current two-goal deficit against a fragile Tottenham Hotspur side.
Tottenham Preview: Spurs’ fragility
At the start of this season, Ange Postecoglou made a point of saying he always wins things in his second season in charge and as daft as that appeared at the time to say and as poor as they have been throughout this campaign, the Australian could well still deliver silverware.
Spurs were up and at it with a slightly more pragmatic style in north London last week as they defeated the Norwegians by three goals to one in the first-leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium thanks to goals from Brennan Johnson, James Maddison and Dominic Solanke.
Bodo/Glimt Team News: Returning players
Bodo/Glimt will be content to have scored late on last week via Uli Saltnes and they will be boosted by their returning contingent. Key players Patrick Berg, Hakon Evjen and Andreas Helmersen will all be back in the squad this week following their suspensions last week.
Predicted XI (4-3-3): Khaikin; Sjovold, Nielsen, Gundersen, Bjorkan; Evjen, Berg, Saltnes; Maatta, Hogh, Hauge
Unavailable: Vetti (Injured), Bassi (Injured)

Tottenham Team News: Maddison injury
Spurs, on the other hand, actually now have players missing for the trip to Norway and the big one is England international James Maddison. He is expected to miss the rest of this season after a magnificent campaign in this competition and also having entered into some good form.
Predicted XI (4-3-3): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bissouma, Bentancur, Kulusevski; Johnson, Solanke, Tel
Unavailable: Dragusin (Injured), Bergvall (Injured), Maddison (Injured)
Questionable: Son (Fitness), Solanke (Injured)

Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham Prediction
Tottenham are famed for their fragility and they now head to completely different conditions against a side well grooved at home with just a two-goal advantage that could be wiped out with two set-pieces within the first 15 minutes of the game. Spurs’ squad is better than what Postecoglou has got out of it this season and the fact that Uli Saltnes notched late on means they will be extremely nervous as they head to the Aspmyra Stadion in Bodo. Whether or not Bodo/Glimt can overturn the deficit is a big ask but certainly doable and siding with them for the leg would be the sensible bet.
