Key stats

  • Bermuda have won their last two World Cup qualifying matches. The only time they have won three successive matches in the same edition of World Cup qualifying was in the qualifiers for the 1994 finals.
  • Bermuda have lost only three of their last 19 World Cup qualifying matches in Bermuda (W10 D6).
  • Jamaica have won their last five World Cup qualifying matches. The only time they won more than five in a row was in the 1998 qualifiers when they won six in succession.
  • Jamaica have kept three clean sheets in their previous four matches in the current World Cup qualifying campaign.

Bermuda vs Jamaica prediction

Bermuda surprised many by edging past Cuba in the second round group stage of CONCACAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in June. They managed to collect seven points from their four matches, as they finished five points behind group winners and 100%-ers Honduras but a point ahead of the Cubans.

They face a Jamaican side that, under the management of Steve McClaren, won all four of their qualifiers in the second round, including an emphatic 3-0 defeat of Guatemala, before a surprise defeat to the Guatemalans in the group stage of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, in which the Reggae Boyz exited at the group stage.

Jamaica can be inconsistent and a bit Jekyll and Hyde, but the Jamaicans will be expected to go to the Bermuda National Stadium and win this one quite comfortably.
