Basel vs FCSB prediction

Basel 1893 head into this one on the back of a goalless draw with Young Boys in a heavyweight clash in the Swiss Super League at the weekend. The home team have won one of their last four matches across all competitions since enjoying a three-match winning streak about a month ago, including a defeat of Stuttgart in this competition.

They now face an FCSB side that had been woeful at the start of this season in the SuperLiga but they have enjoyed a recent improved run of form with a 2-0 defeat of Universitatea Cluj, away from home, meaning that they have won six of their last nine matches across all competitions.

FCSB will head to St Jakob-Park believing that they can continued their reasonable run of form, but home advantage Basel gives them the initiative and both teams scoring would therefore seem a good bet.

Basel vs FCSB tip: Both teams to score
