It has been a mixed start to the season for Barrow as they now prepare to take on an entertaining and impressive Swindon Town side to Holker Street in Cumbria this week.

Barrow vs Swindon prediction

In their opening six matches of the 2025/26 League Two campaign, Barrow have managed two victories with four defeats as they sit in the bottom-half of the table. The Cumbrians perhaps spend more than many expect, and so that is quite an underwhelming start to the campaign.

They face a Swindon Town side that, coached by Ian Holloway, have been magnificent to watch throughout Holloway’s stint in charge. The Robins started with a defeat but have since managed four victories in their last five matches, and they are the joint top scorers in the fourth-tier, alongside Chesterfield.

Swindon are in excellent form, which continued with a win over Reading in the EFL Trophy, and they would have to be viewed as the favourites for this weekend.

Barrow vs Swindon tip: Swindon to win & both teams to score
