Aston Villa vs Brentford prediction
It's been a busy schedule of late for Aston Villa, but they have now won their last three games in all competitions, with the latest seeing them close out the league phase of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday with a 3-2 win over Salzburg.
Emery's men recorded an excellent 0-2 win against Newcastle at St James' Park last weekend, and remain very much in the title race.
After an excellent run of form in the Premier League, Brentford have now now lost their last two games without scoring, suffering 2-0 defeats to both Chelsea and Nottingham Forest.
The Bees remain in a relatively healthy position in the table, and will hope to take advantage of some potentially tired legs from the visitors after their European endeavours.
Brentford have never won at Villa Park though, and after failing to score in their last two games, will find it tough against the in-form hosts.
