Alexander Shevchenko vs Stefanos Tsitsipas prediction
Alexander Shevchenko reached his first tour-level semi-final of the season after he defeated Quentin Halys in straight sets. Halys had beaten defending champion Alexander Bublik earlier in the day, but he was unable to stop Shevchenko, who won 7-6 (5) 6-3. He was not broken throughout the match, and won 82% of his points on first serve.
He faces former world number three Stefanos Tsitsipas next. The Greek also advanced to his first semi-final on the ATP Tour in 2026 as he got past Arthur Rinderknech in three sets. Tsitsipas notched up his third victory in succession after winning 6-3 3-6 6-3.
Shevchenko has impressed this week, but it’s difficult to look past Tsitsipas after his run so far, as he also beat Ignacio Buse in his opening round match. If he is able to dictate with his forehand once more, he should be able to create further opportunities against Shevchenko.
