Al Taawon vs Al Nassr prediction

Al Taawon have appointed Pericles Chamusca over the summer. The ultimate journeyman coach, the Brazilian is set for his 33rd managerial role, having begun his career in 1994. They have been reasonable in their summer business, with the additions of the likes of Faycal Fajr, Musa Barrow and Roger Martinez.

They now face an Al Nassr side that remain captained by Cristiano Ronaldo, but are now under the management of former Al Hilal boss Jorge Jesus. One of the so-called big four in Saudi Arabian football, Al Nassr have added Kingsley Coman and Joao Felix to their squad, as well as centre-back Inigo Martinez.

Al Nassr are expected to become more serious and consistent this season, and they would have to be viewed as the firm favourites against an average Al Taawon side.
