Al Qadsiah vs Al Najma prediction
Following their promotion to the Saudi Pro League in the 2023/24 season, Al Qadsiah eventually finished fourth and qualified for the AFC Asian Cup last season, whilst also winning the Saudi King’s Cup of Champions. Over the off-season, Michel’s side have been able to add Serie A’s 2024/25 Capocannoniere Mateo Retegui.
They face an Al Najma side that managed to gain promotion to the top-flight by finishing as runners’ up in the Saudi Pro League, under the management of Mario Silva. They are expected to struggle this season with a limited squad that is reliant on Honduran international duo Deiby Flores and Romell Quioto.
Al Najma will be expected to struggle throughout this season, and Al Qadsiah are expected to win this opening day clash with relative ease, especially at home.
