Al Hilal vs Al Riyadh prediction

Al Hilal went into the FIFA Club World Cup with Simone Inzaghi having replaced Jorge Jesus in the dugout. They performed well by drawing with Real Madrid and beating Manchester City on their way to reaching the quarter-finals. They have brought in Theo Hernandez and Darwin Nunez as their standout additions this summer.

They now face an Al Riyadh side that, following their promotion in 2024, managed to eventually steer themselves clear of the bottom three and the relegation places, into the middle-of-the-table. They are under the management of Javier Calleja, albeit their squad remains one of the weakest in the Saudi Arabian top-flight.

In what does appear to be a bit of a mis-match on the opening day of the season, Al Hilal will be expected to win this one quite comfortably with a heavy home win to be expected.

Al Hilal vs Al Riyadh tip: Al Hilal to win -1 handicap
