Al Fateh finished firmly in the middle-of-the-table last season, and the same can be said for Al Fayha, despite both of them beginning the 2024/25 campaign in woeful fashion.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – DAZN have the rights to show three Saudi Pro League games per week in the UK, so it is worth checking their schedule / US – Some Saudi Pro League matches will be televised on Fox in the US, so it is worth checking their schedule

How to watch online: UK – If DAZN are televising this match, it can be streamed live to subscribers on DAZN’s digital platforms / US – If televised, this match can be streamed on Fox’s digital platforms, while Fubo subscribers can also stream certain Saudi Pro League matches live

Al Fateh vs Al Fayha prediction

Over the off season, Al Fateh have persisted with coach Jose Gomes. The Portuguese is in charge of a side that have often underwhelmed but managed to steer themselves clear of the bottom three and the relegation places. Their squad is one of the weakest and most limited in the Saudi Pro League.

Al Fayha also have a fairly average squad, but they do boast some strong talents such as Chris Smalling and Silvere Ganvoula. Again, like Al Fateh, they struggled for the vast majority of last season before turning things around in the second-half of the campaign. They are under the management of another Portuguese coach, Pedro Emanuel.

The expectation is that these two sides are slow starters and again finish in mid-table, with an even contest and a draw the most likely outcome on the opening day.

Al Fateh vs Al Fayha tip: Draw
