Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Not televised

How to watch online: UK – FIFA+ / US – FIFA+

Key Stats

  • Zimbabwe have won only one of their last 26 World Cup qualifying matches (D10 L15). They are without a win in 14 (D6 L8), since a 3-1 home victory against Somalia in September 2019.
  • South Africa have won four and drawn one of their previous five World Cup qualifying matches against Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe vs South Africa Prediction

Zimbabwe come into this one on the back of back-to-back slender 1-0 losses in the September international break last month, beaten by Benin and then beaten by Rwanda. The Zimbabweans have failed to win in their eight matches in Group C of CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

South Africa, under the management of Hugo Broos, have been in pole position to be at the 48-team tournament throughout qualifying, sitting above Nigeria, but a 1-1 draw with the Super Eagles last month has allowed Benin to leapfrog Bafana Bafana to the top of the group on goal difference with two games to go.

Zimbabwe have limited quality and a limited level of personnel, as shown by their results, and the South Africans should edge towards potential qualifying this week.

Zimbabwe vs South Africa Tip: South Africa to win & under 3.5 goals
