Zambia vs Ivory Coast Prediction

Avram Grant has been coming under fire as Zambia boss in recent months but they can qualify for the CAF Africa Cup of Nations over the coming week, albeit they face a tough test here.

The Zambians, who were the team that allowed the Ivory Coast to sneak through and eventually win the 2023 AFCON earlier this year, have started with two victories and a draw since losing to the Ivory Coast in their opening match.

Since that opening match, the shock defending African champions Ivory Coast have remained strong. The Ivorians defeated both Chad and Sierra Leone before losing to the latter last month thanks to a winner from former Bolton Wanderers striker Amadou Bakayoko.

This is an intriguing contest as a result of that result but it would remain a major surprise to see the Ivory Coast suffer a defeat in Zambia this week.
