Wolves team news: Krejci back
Ladislav Krejci has returned from suspension for this one but there would have to be an expectation that Edwards names as close to an unchanged eleven as possible with Toti forming a back three alongside Yerson Mosquera and Santiago Bueno.
South Korea international attacker Hwang Hee-chan has returned, though, and Rob Edwards has confirmed that Wolves have a fully fit first-team squad, albeit it is believed that Leon Chiwome remains unavailable.
Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Sa; Mosquera, S. Bueno, T. Gomes; Tchatchoua, J. Gomes, Andre, H. Bueno; Mane, Bellegarde; Armstrong
Unavailable: Chiwome (Injured)
Questionable:
Liverpool team news: Wirtz out
Germany international attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz is expected to miss the clash with Wolves at Molineux and also this weekend's FA Cup clash at Molineux but Arne Slot is hopeful on him returning as soon as next week.
Liverpool have plenty of confirmed absentees, too, with Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni still sidelined alongside Wataru Endo, Stefan Bajcetic and Alexander Isak.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Ekitike
Unavailable: Leoni (Injured), Bradley (Injured), Endo (Injured), Bajcetic (Injured), Wirtz (Injured), Isak (Injured)
Questionable: Danns (Fitness)
Wolves vs Liverpool prediction
Rob Edwards is overseeing Wolves’ relegation to the Championship, with the hosts now 14 points adrift of safety, but they are showing some fight with a continuation of that as they defeated Aston Villa by two goals to nil last weekend, courtesy of second-half goals from Joao Gomes and Ricardo Gomes.
Liverpool hammered West Ham United by five goals to two at Anfield the other day, courtesy of goals from Hugo Ekitike, Virgil van Dijk, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo and an Axel Disasi own goal. The Reds have now enjoyed six victories in their last seven matches across all competitions.
Wolves are showing some resilience and fight but the visitors appear to have now discovered some much-needed fluency and so siding with them would still be the way to go.
