Western United vs Sydney prediction

Western United come into this one on the back of being pegged back in their charge for the top-of-the-table with back-to-back losses ahead of this one. Their most recent defeat saw them go down by two goals to one in Queensland against a poor and struggling Brisbane Roar side just over a week or so ago.

They now face a Sydney side that, under the management of Ufuk Talay, begin this weekend’s round of fixtures now sitting tucked inside the top-half of their 13-team A League table. The New South Wales based outfit most recently and entertainingly defeated the Newcastle Jets by three goals to two last weekend after being 2-0 down in that game.

Western United need a response and they now take on one of the more entertaining teams in Australia’s top-flight so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one.

Western United vs Sydney tip: Both teams to score
